My pet is very hyper (shy, anxious, nervous...) and will never sit, listen, or cooperate for a session.
You should not worry! My main goal is to capture true personality of your furry companion! Before your actual photo shoot session, we will have a pre-session consulation that will allow me to get to know your furry friend better and discuss any possible behavioral challenges. I will always spend extra time with your pet at the beginig of our session to get him comfortable with me and get used to my camera equipment. You don't need to worry - in addition to my private sessions I handle weekly photo sessions of cats and dogs at The Humane Society of Northwest Montana animal shelter and I know how to work around different personalities of furry four-legged friends!
Are your sessions only for my pet or I can be in the photos too?
Absolutely! During our pre-session consulation, we will discuss all the details, including what types of images we can create during our session. I can focus mainly on your pet, but I always encourage my clients to capture at least one image, preserving precious memories of relationship between you and your furry friend.
I can't let my dog off-leash but I want to have our session outside.
The safety of my clients is the most important thing during my sessions. I only advise to let your dog off-leash in a safe environment and only if you are confident in your ability to recall your pet. But even if your dog cannot be let off-leash, I will remove any distractions (such as a leash) during post processing process at no additional charge.
My pet doesn't have much time left. What can I expect during "Celebrate Life" session?
I’m so very sorry. One of the hardest and most hearbreaking experiences in our life is when time comes to say final good bye to your best four-legged friend. While I cannot freeze time for you, I will make any possible effort to create the most precious memories of the final days of your pet. During our pre-session consulation, we will talk about all your pet's favourite things and activities, so I can focus on those important details during our photoshoot. We will set up our session in the most comfortable and favorite environments and work at the pace of your pet. This session is to honour your pet and capture lifetime memories of how incredibly special of a bond you shared together.
I don't know what product to choose. Do I have to decide now?
While it's beneficial to have a sense of the collection you're interested in during the session booking, you're not obligated to make any final decisions until our viewing and ordering appointment, where you'll have the opportunity to see all your final images and finalize your choices!
What if I don't want any printed products but only to receive all my digital files.
Having a print that you can hold in your hand or display on your walls makes your memories all the more meaningful. Physical prints are a profound way to remember, to look back on, and to cherish. When purchasing your prints through a photographer who works with professional photo labs, the quality of paper that the photos are printed on are much higher and the ink will not fade over time. Prints will last longer. Digital files will fail over time (or just become extinct). As with anything in our digital age, it doesn't last forever. However, to provide the best of both worlds, each ordered product includes the matching watermarked social media file of that product's image(s). Matching high-resolution files of ordered product image(s) are complimentary with product purchase(s) totaling $995+. Digital files are not included in your session fee. However, if you want to get only your digital files I wil happily deliver it for you for a fixed price of $999
How far outside of Kalispell do you travel?
I am based Kalispell and I will travel just about any location within two-three hours of Kalispell. If you are interested in a session beyond this area, contact me for a customized travel quote.
Is there a certain amount I must spend on products?
Signature wall art pieces, like handcrafted artisan wood, framed canvases, and framed prints are client favorites, and many love adding their remaining favorites in a fine art album, an heirloom folio box, and as boutique add-ons. Your total investment depends on how many images you desire and how you wish to enjoy them after your session.Most clients typically invest in a signature collection or a combination of signature wall art coupled with a fine art album, an heirloom folio box, or boutique add-ons, therefore the total amount spent from client to client varies greatly; however, you can expect to spend anywhere from $500 on a handful of small prints to several thousand on artwork for your entire home. What you choose to order though is completely up to you because you're only purchasing what you absolutely love. Whether you want a gorgeous fine art album of all your images, a statement-making wall art piece, or the moon, we can do that!
What if I just want a few small prints?
You deserve to have even small prints come as a finished piece of art, which is why I'm happy to offer them in my popular heirloom folio boxes, the most beautiful way to preserve your prints and a stunning alternative to fine art albums. These come in sets of 10 or 20 matted gift prints, which can be stored for safekeeping inside your gorgeous custom-designed box, removed for you to frame and display throughout your home, or gifted to your pet's favorite people.My boutique add-on gift print bundle and gorgeous portrait triplex also present an alternative option for small prints.
